BSA Sport Study Group Postgraduate Forum | Call for Abstracts

The 2017 British Sociological Association Sport Study Group Postgraduate Forum will be hosted on Friday 1st September 2017 by HART and the School of Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Lincoln. The conference organising team is led by Rachel Williams, a doctoral researcher and research assistant with HART.

The BSA Sport Study Group welcomes theoretically informed papers from postgraduate research students working in fields of sociology of sport and/or physical culture, sociology of the body, physical education, coaching, anthropology, pedagogy or related disciplines in the social sciences and humanities. Topics are encouraged from a wide spectrum, including but not limited to, theory, methodologies and discussions of data.

Last day to submit your paper abstract for consideration in our first issue! 

E-mporium, the University of Lincoln’s new interdisciplinary E-journal of postgraduate research, is now seeking submissions for its first issue.

As E-mporium is interdisciplinary in nature, we will be looking to showcase the best in postgraduate research and invite contributions from postgraduate students across the spectrum of disciplines at both Masters and Doctoral level. E-mporium accepts a range of paper types at submission, including, but not limited to:

• Book/Film/Theatre/Exhibition/Conference Review

• Perspective Piece
• Comment Paper

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

Potential authors are required to submit a 200 word abstract for evaluation which can be sent to journals@lincoln.ac.uk or delivered in person to our office at One Campus Way.

The deadline for abstract submission is 27/02/2017.
