For postgraduate researchers, this is an opportunity to hone your presentation and public engagement skills, showcase your research, explore new connections with the wider University community, and potentially win a prize. Your research has the potential to have a huge impact, and the Research Showcase gives you the opportunity to share what you do with the world.

Entering the showcase will give you the chance to:
•    gain confidence in communicating your research
•    develop effective communication and presentation skills
•    network with other researchers and build your profile
•    public engagement opportunities
•    Ability to present your research to a lay audience

All postgraduate research students are eligible to submit a presentation abstract or poster. All entrants must be currently registered for a research degree (PhD, Masters by Research, MPhil, EngD, EdD, professional doctorate) at the University of Lincoln on the date of the Showcase.

Showcase Presentation Submissions

The showcase provides an ideal development opportunity for new and existing researchers from all disciplines to present their research, discuss and share good practice with others in a comfortable and supportive environment. The presentations should be 10 minutes long, and there will be 5 minutes allocated for questions after each presentation.

Showcase Poster Submissions

Whatever your discipline, poster presentations are a powerful and widely used means of disseminating research in both academic and non-academic contexts. Distilling your research into an A1 poster that is engaging and visually appealing can be a challenge, but is an excellent way to stretch your creativity and demonstrate the impact of your work.
