Taking place on Wednesday and Thursday 28th and 29th February 2024, our annual showcase recognises the excellence of Lincoln’s postgraduate research. Over the two days we will have a a scheduled programme of key speakers, postgraduate presentations, the 3MT presentations, a poster showcase, and a plenary session by PGR students. The event will include plenty of opportunities for participants and delegates to network and discuss their research. Lincoln students and staff are warmly invited to  meet our new generation of researchers and discover dynamic, engaging presentations of fascinating postgraduate projects and their impact.   Due to feedback the conference will mostly take place online to allow as much participation as possible, but there will ne networking opportunities on campus too.

We are seeking entries from research students of all disciplines. Your presentation should provide the audience with a clear idea of what your research is about, what you have discovered and the impact of your research. All postgraduate research students are eligible to submit a presentation or poster, and to enter the 3MT competition. 

The East Midlands Doctoral Network (EMDoc) consists of nine universities, who together we are united in sharing best practice, resources and insights into postgraduate research, as well as providing opportunities for collaboration and networking.

Every year EMDoc provides the opportunity for students from all organisations to participate and attend an EMDoc conference. This conference usually takes place in September, with further information coming in due course. For now, please visit the EMDoc site to find out more:
