Meet The Team
Ian Packer – Director of the Doctoral School
 
Ian Packer has been Director of the Doctoral School since November 2020. He joined the University of Lincoln in 2004 and has served in a variety of senior roles, including Postgraduate Research Lead for the College of Arts and Director of Research in the School of History and Heritage.
 
A specialist in British political and cultural history in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, Ian is the author of four books on Edwardian politics and is currently co-general editor of the online Collected Letters of Robert Southey project (2011-present).
Tanya Spratt – Academic Development Officer

Tanya is the Academic Development Officer.  Working in the Researcher Development Team within Research and Industrial Partnerships.  She is responsible for planning, organising, and delivering events for the Institute for Advanced Studies and the Doctoral School. Tanya also supports the Research Development Co-ordinator.

Ethan Snell – Marketing Assistant

Ethan is a Marketing Assistant and works with the Researcher Development team, within Research and Industrial Partnerships, supporting a marketing strategy for activity relating to postgraduate researcher (PGR) initiatives within the Doctoral School, and contributing towards PGR recruitment objectives, social media management, and event promotion.

 

Rebekah Eager- Public Engagement Clerical Assistant 

Rebekah is part of the Research and Industrial Partnership team working as a Public Engagement Clerical Assistant. Her role includes engaging with and supporting researchers, early careers researchers and postgraduate students to enhance their research experience at Lincoln. She works closely with the Doctoral School and the Lincoln Institute for Advanced Studies. Rebekah also provides support for a number of research activities including inaugural lectures, research workshops and events which provide students and the public the opportunity to engage with research, network and further their development.

Adele Clarke – Research Administrator

Adele is a Research Administrator and works with the Researcher Development team, within Research and Industrial Partnerships.
